About SARPcheck

SARPcheck is a comprehensive safety audit program designed for the commercial aviation industry. By directly auditing the applicable ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices, the program aims to elevate flight safety, accelerate airline business processes, and facilitate codeshares, wet leases, and charter operations.

Contact Phase

We analyse your needs to create a customized proposal for you. Once the proposal has been accepted and the SARPcheck agreement signed, the planning of your audit can start.

SARPcheck on-site audit

Every SARPcheck audit starts with the opening meeting on the first day and ends with the closing meeting on the last day. Four auditors will conduct the audit for four days (sixteen man-days on-site).

Registry Phase I

Every operator that has completed a comprehensive SARPcheck audit, inclusive of observational assessments, has achieved Phase I of the SARPcheck Programme. These airlines are immediately listed after they have undergone the audit.

Registry Phase II

Once an operator is fully compliant with the applicable ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices as confirmed by another SQO, they will be listed in Phase II of the registry.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the SARPcheck Program, operators must either hold or have officially applied for an Air Operator Certificate (AOC). The operator must demonstrate a commitment to maintaining high safety standards and be willing to undergo the comprehensive audit by an SQO. The program has the flexibly to include different commercial air operator types, sizes and categories, in accordance with the following scope:

• Business Aviation Operators
• ACMI Operators
• Ad-Hoc/- and Charter Operators
• IFR and/or VFR operations
• Operators of scheduled flights
